A Letter from our Director
Hello Dance Families!
My name is Jessica Strong and I am the Director and Owner of Dance Exploration, LLC.
I have been organizing the Dance Program at multiple schools and Recreation Centers since November of 2009. My goal for the program has been to provide an educational, engaging and enriching dance experience for younger children ages 18months to 12. With a mission to instill a love of dance into each dancer who enters the program, I strive to ensure each staff member creates an in-class experience that is creative, unique and fun.
I began developing the Dance to Learn® Curriculum when I first started Dance Exploration in 2009. I wanted a Curriculum that would allow children to explore and examine the world around them. The Curriculum your dancers will experience in the Dance Exploration program at Widefield Parks and Recreation is:
Educational: Dancers will explore their world around them with a fun and exciting monthly theme.
Engaging: Dancers will examine one of 14 Dance concepts each week so they will not only understand HOW to dance, but WHY they dance.
Enriching: Dancers will gain the knowledge and skills to exhibit dance movements and principles both in and out of the dance studio.
I love to include families every step of the way. Which is why we have the Dance to Learn® at Home program. Our instructors share what we are learning in class so you can continue the fun and learning at home with your child and witness first hand what makes Dance Exploration and the Dance to Learn® Curriculum special.
I look forward to you becoming a part of the Dance Exploration Family!
